WHO WE ARE?

Objectives, mission, vision

"It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop." — Confucius

The aim of this project is to support socially marginalized individuals through sport, with the understanding that a smile on someone's face for "90 minutes" is not enough. It is essential to act as a bridge between government entities and sports organizations that can develop a long-term strategic plan to reverse negative societal trends. Drawing on extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, Cinco Colores serves as an intermediary between government organizations and private entities to maximize the impact of sport on social development initiatives.

MISSION: We support through sport socially marginalized people!

VISION: We are building an international network of contacts, the "DIGNITY NETWORK," because human dignity matters.

Small steps, big changes

In a world where political ideologies, cultural differences, prejudices, and language barriers seem to create divisions, sport stands out as a powerful tool that often works in the exact opposite way: it unites people. Large-scale sporting events, such as the Olympic Games or FIFA World Cup, serve as evidence that sport can have a far-reaching impact on the world's population. However, the effects of these events are short-lived, and only a few, if any, produce tangible, lasting change.

As such, we are missing a tremendous opportunity when sport is overlooked as a mechanism in social initiatives aimed at sustainable development. In this concept of a hybrid social enterprise, **Cinco Colores** establishes the missing link between government agencies and sports organizations, serving as a model for real, feasible, and sustainable sports initiatives that drive social development.

As members of a modern, developed, so-called democratic world, we believe we have a moral duty to extend a helping hand to those less fortunate. Through community-based sports initiatives, the "Cinco Colores Foundation" collaborates with governments and sports organizations, acting as a catalyst for lasting social change.

The principles of capitalism and globalization have dominated the world over the past quarter-century. While they generate many benefits and opportunities, the unintended negative impact of these ideologies on certain segments of society is undeniable. As the saying goes, "the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer"—indeed, capitalism and globalization have helped to entrench this reality.

The **Cinco Colores Foundation** does not claim to solve or eliminate all social problems that have persisted over centuries. Nevertheless, it provides marginalized and socially excluded individuals with opportunities for social reintegration through active participation in sport.

"The world isn't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very tough and cruel place, and I don't care how strong you are—it will knock you down and keep you there as long as you let it. You, me, or nobody else can hit as hard as life. But it's not about how hard you hit. It's about how much you can take and keep moving forward." — Rocky Balboa
